The Macquarie Capital team in Amsterdam are a group of M&A advisory, principal investment and project finance specialists dedicated to covering the Benelux region. The team focuses on M&A, equity capital markets, debt advisory and principal investments in the Benelux, covering projects which include several critical infrastructure projects. Our Coverage and Solutions team focuses on M&A, equity capital markets, debt advisory and principal investments in the Benelux. We are looking for motivated interns to join our team for a duration of 4 months from August 2025.

What role will you play?
As an off-cycle intern in the Amsterdam team, you will support our Coverage and Solutions team, and experience first-hand how we are helping our clients, and partners realise opportunity. Your responsibilities could include conducting research and analysing company and industry specific financial information, supporting in financial modelling for state-of-the-art infrastructure financial models, and supporting with pitch presentations and other day-to-day deal activities to raise debt facilities for our clients. You will also be involved in preparing client presentations, providing market updates, assisting in due diligence processes, and coordinating the execution of advisory mandates and principal investments all whilst sitting side by side experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require five days a week in our office location.
What you offer
- You are a motivated student in the final year or a recent graduate of a top business or engineering school (or equivalent).
- Excellent language skills in both Dutch and English.
- Previous experience as an intern in corporate finance advisory, M&A, private equity, transaction services, leveraged finance or audit would be a plus.
