Join our Japan Power team, who provide trading and hedging services to a range of utility, power producers and suppliers, and corporate and institutional clients globally, and discover all the possibilities of a career at Macquarie. What role will you play?

As an intern, you will gain insight into the financial services industry and learn about our business groups and culture through working side by side with business leaders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our trading and sales teams, applying your quantitative skills to real-world experiences, and gain exposure to the domestic Japanese market as well as international commodity markets.

What you offer

  • A current undergraduate or master’s student in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar
  • Ability to commit to a full-time internship during your 2026 summer break
  • Strong interest in financial services, with deep knowledge of current market activity
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English for communication with key stakeholders.
