What role will you play? 
In our Summer Internship Program, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience which could set you up for a successful career once you complete your studies. During your 8–10-week internship, you will work alongside leading industry professionals and receive a structured induction, on-the-job training, and networking opportunities.
As part of our Risk Management Group (RMG), you will deliver successful and sustainable business outcomes by reviewing, challenging, overseeing, monitoring and reporting on Macquarie’s material risks.
We have opportunities in:
Credit
Help manage and oversee the counterparty credit, equity and asset risks taken by Macquarie.
Market Risk
Assess, monitor and report on the risk of change in the value of Macquarie’s positions as a result of changes in market conditions. This encompasses both traded and non-traded market risk
Prudential Risk
Play a role in developing and maintaining the prudential risk framework to support compliance with prudential obligations globally.
RMG Central
Support the effective and efficient operation of RMG by providing centralised services for strategy, data management, analytics, change, projects, and learning and development in RMG.
Internal Audit
Help provide independent and objective risk-based assurance on the compliance with, and effectiveness of, Macquarie’s financial and risk management framework.
Compliance
Supports Group-wide risk surveillance by providing centralised services for analytics, insights & models
What you offer 
- Commerce, economics, maths and technology students in their penultimate or final year of study.
