Within Macquarie Capital, our team supports organisations across the global critical minerals and energy value chain, partnering with stakeholders to originate and deliver strategic transactions. Supporting clients in sectors including mining, metals, energy transition and related infrastructure. You will help us deliver commercial insights and support complex transactions.

What role will you play?

As an Analyst, you will support the origination and execution of acquisitions, mergers, divestments and business sales. Taking ownership of key workstreams, managing diligence and preparing clear materials for senior stakeholders. Through your strong numerical and analytical skills, you will build financial models and run valuation analysis to support decision making. As well as researching sectors across mining, metals, energy transition and related infrastructure while working with colleagues across our global network.

What you offer

  • Specific interest in critical minerals and natural resources and the broader sector landscape.
  • 1–2 years’ of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, equity research or corporate development.
  • Strong modelling and analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, that allow you to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
