Working in collaboration with Data Owners, technology teams and business stakeholders, you will monitor data quality, maintain governance artefacts and oversee data risks and controls. You will be responsible for identifying and investigating data quality rule breaches, raising and managing data issues and incidents through to resolution, and supporting root cause analysis and remediation activities to drive sustainable improvements. Working closely with Operational Risk Managers, you will help maintain and enhance data-related controls, proactively identify control gaps, and support the remediation of control breakdowns. You will also assess the impact of data changes arising from system updates and transformations, ensuring that implications to data scope, metadata, lineage and control environments are clearly understood and effectively managed.

In addition, you will contribute to advancing data governance by maintaining comprehensive documentation of data elements, lineage, metadata and data sharing agreements, while partnering with stakeholders to embed consistent governance practices. You will identify opportunities to strengthen data quality, controls and governance frameworks, supporting broader data governance uplift initiatives across the organisation. From an operational perspective, you will monitor data flows and processes to ensure integrity and control effectiveness, manage manual adjustments with appropriate safeguards, and facilitate regular reviews with upstream and downstream stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and alignment.
