Join our Reporting Operations Team within the Risk Management Group, as we support an exciting strategic program of work that aligns our risk management strategy, reporting obligations and technology to help Macquarie businesses meet commercial and regulatory requirements.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate and timely reporting to Risk SMEs, committees, forums and entity boards as well as manage reporting requests and queues, ensuring queries and requests for information are resolved in a timely manner and within agreed SLAs. You will also support the identification of issues, risks and opportunities for innovation and improvement through continuous reviews of data quality, processes and working practices.

In addition, you will be supporting the Reporting Operations function in ensuring robust governance over regulatory reports owned by the Risk Management Group globally. You will assess and develop strong documentation of end-to-end regulatory reporting processes and governance arrangements, and will be working with the business and first line SMEs to carry out assurance activities, ensuring up to date standards, interpretation and any other process documentation are maintained to support a compliant reporting process. Lastly, you will be monitoring regulatory compliance in accordance with internal frameworks and policies, supporting the reporting automation and standardisation initiatives.

What you offer

• 2-3 years’ prior experience in audit, accounting, financial analysis or data analytics
• A strong understanding of risk and controls as well as analytics with proven experience in financial services, preferably in Risk or Finance functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proven problem-solving skills and experience working in an agile project environment.
• Experience in data analysis, mapping data between systems and business analysis, with knowledge of SQL programming as advantageous.
• Experience of managing multiple regulatory reporting regimes and internal reporting requirements, particularly in Macquarie's operating jurisdictions, and ability to identify trends and root causes and provide solutions will be an advantage.
