Our Banking and Financial Services Finance Systems team designs, evolves and runs the core finance, tax and management reporting platforms that power Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services business. We connect source systems to our general ledger and analytics platforms to provide accurate, timely and decision ready financial insights.

What role will you play?

As the Data Architect/Tech Lead, you will leverage your strong expertise in finance and data integration to lead our finance ecosystem. With a strategic, problem-solving mindset and deep technical knowledge, you will define the technical vision and architecture for a significant portfolio of the Banking and Financial Services finance systems. This includes our general ledger, accounts receivable, budgeting/forecasting, reconciliation, and finance data & analytics platforms. You will be responsible for designing finance systems that optimally use our core platforms, and will drive efficiency by leveraging AI, automation, and other technological advancements.

What you offer

• Proven hands-on experience in big data and implementing data integration solutions.
• Deep domain knowledge in finance with experience in finance platforms like Fusion General Ledger, TM1, Workiva, and Anaplan.
• Experience leading the end-to-end solution design and implementation of complex finance systems.
• Experience working in a mature cloud environment.
• Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Passionate about using automation and AI to drive platform efficiency and innovation.
