Our Asset Solutions team within Business Banking focuses on managing higher-risk and underperforming credit portfolios, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and customer outcomes. We work closely with Risk and Finance teams to maintain robust oversight and support the bank’s financial resilience.

What role will you play?

As Head of Asset Solutions, you will lead a specialised team responsible for the strategic oversight and management of higher-risk and credit monitoring portfolios. You will drive effective risk management practices, ensuring accurate assessment, provisioning, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Working with senior stakeholders across Risk and Finance, you will contribute your expertise to key forums and business-wide initiatives. You will also play a critical role in strengthening processes, improving frameworks, and supporting positive outcomes for customers experiencing financial difficulty.

What you offer

  • Extensive experience in credit risk management, including managing high-risk, defaulted, or non-performing loan portfolios within a banking or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of financial provisioning, credit risk assessment practices, and relevant regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply these in a practical setting
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence senior leaders across multiple business areas
  • Strong analytical capability and experience contributing to strategic initiatives, along with a solid understanding of business banking products, systems, and processes.
