Join a customer-first team as a Technical Helpdesk Support Engineer to drive and maintain the tech assist service, which delivers support for technical desktop, voice, and computer systems.

What role will you play?

As a Helpdesk Engineer, you will collaborate with various teams across the Macquarie lines of business to support their desktops/VDIs and mobile devices. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, including account setup, laptop/phone configuration, and network configuration.

You will monitor and resolve computer system issues, ensuring that all incidents are properly logged and that accurate records of interactions and resolution steps are maintained. Additionally, you will follow up with business users to confirm their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting. You will also document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals. Furthermore, you will provide on-site support for AV systems during events, town halls and meetings.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in IT technical desktop support with solid troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices (iOS), and other tech products. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory).
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and IT help desk software (e.g., Virtual Desktop, Remedy, ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide novel ideas to solve problems.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills, as well as proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, MacOS, or similar technologies is a plus.
