What role will you play?

You’ll play a key part in shaping how our people experience our platforms by leading workshops, interviews, and process walk‑throughs that uncover real business needs. You’ll translate those insights into clear business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide impactful solutions. You’ll also execute standard operating procedures, support routine operational workflows, and take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving user issues, queries, and complaints, working closely with our external vendor partners and internal technology teams to keep everything running smoothly.

Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders based in Sydney and New York, giving you the opportunity to work with a truly global team.

  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to stay focused and effective in a dynamic environment
  • Highly self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to remain structured while managing multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially in translating complex requirements into clear, actionable information
  • Demonstrated ability to manage business pressures and global stakeholder expectations with professionalism and resilience
  • Proven capability to work independently and efficiently within geographically dispersed teams, with strong attention to detail
  • Background in IT software, with experience as a Business Analyst or Test Analyst
  • Experience with compliance systems, Power BI, and Jira is a strong advantage.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
