Join our Business Operations Risk Management team working with stakeholders and colleagues across all global regions. Based in the Manila office, you will build and maintain strong relationships with end-to-end stakeholders that support Macquarie’s many business streams.

What role will you play?

You will perform assurance reviews against controls to identify deviations, performance gaps and enhancement opportunities, producing and presenting reports of risk findings to senior stakeholders and forum participants. From time to time, you will also perform post-implementation reviews, facilitate risk workshops and training, and participate in reviews of group wide policies and procedures.

 
You will receive training on the firm’s Control Assurance techniques and Operational Risk Management framework, as well as gain exposure to business leaders across the division. You will be empowered to demonstrate and influence teams across our division to continuously improve operational risk awareness and culture within Operations and more broadly for our Corporate Operations Group.

What you offer

• Solid knowledge of business support operations with an understanding of the trade lifecycle and financial products such as commodities, financial markets, equity derivatives and/or cash equities
• Practical experience of testing control design and effectiveness in a financial institution environment
• Ability to grasp business and process concepts effectively combined with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging risks
• Comfortable working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a broad range of stakeholders across all global regions.
