What role will you play?

As a data engineer, you will be involved in developing high quality and low maintenance data solutions for our Data and AI platform, including optimising data pipelines and utilising big data technologies for large-scale data processing. You will also be involved in automating data workflows, collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and, on occasion, provide production support for the broader team.

What you offer

• Hands on experience in Python
• Solid SQL experience, authoring complex queries and Data Definition Language
• Familiarity with Big Data concepts and technologies
• Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
• Big Data technologies such as Presto, Spark, and Hive
• Data Pipelines Orchestration tools like Airflow or Argo Workflows
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket Pipelines
• Cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP.
