What role will you play?

In this role, you’ll partner with Macquarie Capital to ensure that Technology Risk is managed effectively, in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies. You’ll work with the team to drive a strong, proactive risk culture and a clear understanding of the risk framework.

As a Senior Analyst in the Operational Risk Team, you will play a key role supporting oversight activities over Macquarie’s Line 1 business function by applying principles to specialist disciplines covering technology risks.

You will analyse data to obtain and deliver insights from monitoring and reporting of risks to senior management, identifying opportunities for improvement, driving the delivery and execution of uplift for operational risk management.

  • Expertise with operational risk management, assurance experience, or data analytics.
  • Ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the capability to initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues.
  • Highly motivated and comfortable working within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
