Our Futures COO team in the Commodities and Global Markets Division supports and develops a broad range of business and financial management functions. Our Financial Management team’s purpose is to serve as a trusted partner to the Futures business, helping to steer data driven decision making using a suite of financial reporting tools and analytics.

What role will you play?

In this role you will work with a wide range of stakeholders across Commodities and Global Markets, Group Treasury, Finance and Risk Management to analyse, advise and report on several specialist areas that are supported by the Futures COO Financial Management team. Specifically, you will support activity related to Capital analysis and reporting, profitability analysis and cost management, financial compliance (incl Client Money, APRA, Tax Reporting) and performance reporting on customer revenues. Additionally, you will lead the COO-managed working groups.


What you offer

  • 5+ years of work experience in financial services, in a related field and with demonstrated experience leading a globally dispersed team.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, banking, or accounting. If you are CA/CPA qualified or working towards this recognition this will be highly regarded, although not essential.
  • Understanding of and prior exposure to financial accounting, capital and funding matters.
  • Experience in developing and delivering customised financial reporting to support senior management decision-making, with a strong focus on financial risk management and controls.
  • The ability to critically analyse complex financial scenarios and summarise key insights.
