Our Cybersecurity Strategy and Culture team are responsible for driving positive cyber security behaviours across Macquarie Group globally. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Culture, you will lead and enhance internal awareness campaigns and learning initiatives across Macquarie Group.

This is a maternity leave cover until December 2025.

What role will you play?

In your role as an Awareness and Learning Manager, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program aimed at empowering staff globally.

You will have a proactive approach to identifying learning needs and delivering engaging content that enhances security culture. Staying up to date with industry trends, threats, and regulations to ensure training content remains current and relevant. You will work with a range of stakeholders to bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical teams, produce cyber communications across multiple channels, develop and present materials, develop a champions program and deliver large scale engagement events.

  • Experience in communications, awareness, learning, or a related field
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex cybersecurity concepts for diverse audiences
  • Thrives both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Project management capabilities, with a history of developing and implementing strategic initiatives that engage and resonate with target audiences
  • A creative approach to designing engaging and interactive educational materials, including but not limited to presentations, workshops, demonstrations, videos, quizzes and more
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning. Previous experience in cybersecurity or a related domain is preferred.
