Our Macquarie Financial Management, People and Engagement’s Group Treasury division is dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of our governance and regulatory frameworks. We coordinate and support various risk and control forums, working groups, and board presentations, ensuring compliance and effective management across our global operations.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

As the Governance Executive Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating, consolidating, and creating presentations for various regulatory risk and control forums. You will ensure the smooth operation of monthly forums and working groups, ensuring timely submission of deliverables and thorough follow-up on actions. This role requires a strong background in project coordination, exceptional time management, and relationship-building skills, which are essential for success.

  • Prior experience successfully operating in a treasury function with regulatory risk and project coordination expertise
  • The ability to demonstrate stakeholder engagement and management skills to deliver successful business outcomes
  • The ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
  • An enthusiastic and energetic outlook with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude with a proven record of delivering project outcomes
  • Tenacity to gather input from a variety of busy stakeholders to aid decision making and drive process improvement
  • Prince2 or PMI qualification would be an advantage
