Embedded within the business, our Principal Finance Digital and Data team are experts in Technology transformation and responsible for not only creating but delivering the data, system and AI automation strategy for Macquarie Capital Principal Finance. Being the key triage point across business and technology stakeholders, our team work at both strategic and detailed operational levels to ensure the business operates smoothly with supporting technology and advancing into a digital first way of working.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support the Lead Data Business Analyst and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify and document data requirements, perform data analysis and testing, support the business in business testing and sign off. Once in production, you will own the issue triage, analysis and resolution and have hands on experience using the data and building your own dashboards for business consumption in line with the Project and Data Governance Framework.

What you offer

  • Experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry
  • 3+ years domain knowledge of financial markets and products including front to back system flows and lifecycle events
  • 3+ years of proven experience in technology development (SDLC), requirements analysis / definition, documentation, and delivery.
  • Experience using SQL.
  • An interest in data and its use across the organisation
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, including a passion for troubleshooting, supported by clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
