What role will you play?

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing big data and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with the Test Automation and Release Management teams to embed best practices into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process. 

Additionally, you will work closely with technology and business subject matter experts (SMEs) to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the data governance domain and to gain related insights. 

What you offer

  • Demonstrated experience working in an engineering role in public or private cloud environments. 
  • Hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform and its respective services. Experience with Big Data querying tools, such as Hive, Spark, and Presto. 
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Good SQL experience with the ability to manage data pipelining using tools like Apache Oozie or Airflow. 
  • Experience working in DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Continuous Delivery, and/or Rapid Application Development environments. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience in lead development roles within the banking and financial services sector.
