What role will you play?

In this role, you will help strengthen DLP controls and governance across Macquarie by reviewing incidents, analysing data, and identifying false positives, trends, and emerging risks. You will work closely with engineering teams to refine DLP policies, thresholds, and detection logic. Additionally, you will also translate analysis into clear, actionable insights to support consistent and effective DLP practices across the organisation.

What you offer

• 4+ years of relevant experience in data loss risk across various exfiltration vectors including web, email, endpoint and cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of security incident and change management process in relation to Data loss prevention.
• Ability to interpret complex raw data, identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks in DLP events to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Experience in data analytics, automation, scripting languages including PowerShell and python and event management tools including Power BI and Splunk.
• Good understanding of the DLP policies, detection logic and basic working of the various DLP products like Netskope, Proofpoint, MS purview.
