What role will you play?

In this role, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver authoritative data models. You’ll champion data modelling standards and best practices, using ErWin and related tools to ensure quality and consistency, and conduct data architecture assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Additionally, you’ll design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, supported by clear documentation, and implement and monitor data architecture controls, managing risks and deviations. You’ll partner with Group Data Office and Enterprise Data Management teams to operationalise data strategy, standards, and controls, and participate in architecture forums and review boards to help shape group-wide data initiatives.

What you offer

  • 8+ years’ experience in data modelling and data architecture, with hands-on expertise in ErWin or any similar tools
  • Proven ability to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and author technical artefacts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience supporting data strategy, implementing architecture controls, and managing risks
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP), data mesh, and authoritative data source management
  • Deep understanding of Treasury, Capital and Liquidity, and financial domains
  • Experience with large transformation projects and exposure to data governance and enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks is valuable
  • Knowledge of optimising data models for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, GCP) is highly regarded.
