Join our Information Management team within Macquarie’s Financial Management and People Enablement Group where the team play a key role in leading information management risk, data and reporting outcomes. What role will you play?

In this role, you will lead stakeholders and cross-functional teams to assess data protection and information management compliance. You will translate data and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable outcomes, using insight and judgement to influence decisions and prioritisation. A core part of the role is operating in complex environments, where you will negotiate outcomes, apply appropriate challenge, and maintain risk-aligned positions.

  • Strong interest in technology, data, operational risk management and governance, with the ability to translate complexity into practical business outcomes
  • Background in technology and data analysis techniques / tools (PowerShell, SQL, Excel, PowerBI, PowerAutomate)
  • Excellent quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise initiative and be able to follow through on issues with minimal supervision
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Understanding of data modelling, architecture or privacy best practices is advantageous.
