As a Data and AI Strategy and Operations Director within the regional Data and AI Office, you oversee the operational rhythm, portfolio management, and delivery effectiveness of the region’s Data and AI initiatives. The role involves establishing governance structures, preparing materials for senior forums, and providing clear insights and recommendations that guide decision‑making across the region.
You proactively identify and manage delivery, resourcing, and risk issues to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and available capacity. In addition, you develop structured reporting for regional leadership, contribute to cross‑regional coordination, and help drive change initiatives that strengthen data governance and AI enablement.
A key part of the role is championing responsible AI adoption through education and capability uplift. You also lead the graduate recruitment cycle across the Northern Hemisphere and provide day‑to‑day support and development for early‑career team members, while contributing more broadly to hiring activities across the regional Data and AI team.

  • Strong experience across data governance, data management with the ability to translate technical topics into clear, business relevant insights. AI experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing high quality materials for senior management and governance forums
  • Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and influence stakeholders at senior levels
  • Ability to demonstrate senior level judgement and decision-making capability, acting on behalf of the Regional Chief Data & AI Officer where appropriate to progress initiatives, resolve issues, and respond to time critical matters
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand new concepts and operate independently
  • A collaborative, self starting approach with experience driving operational excellence and supporting people development
