What role will you play?

In this key role, you will collaborate with the Product Director, managing all aspects of your technology platform. This involves overseeing engineering strategy, roadmaps, and processes, as well as system design, development, CI/CD, production support, and process enhancement. Your role is vital for meeting current needs and preparing for future challenges and opportunities.

Your duties include promoting an innovative culture that values creativity, understands risk management, and encourages collaboration in problem-solving, aiming to boost the company's technological capabilities through cutting-edge solutions.

You will work closely with architects and business leaders to understand and shape business and technology strategies, leveraging your experience in leadership and cloud engineering. Your role includes advocating for new cloud technologies and leading a team of cloud engineers to meet the company's tech goals, requiring both technical knowledge and leadership abilities

  • Extensive experience in establishing and guiding a Cloud Centre of Excellence within a regulated framework, ensuring compliance and innovation.
  • Proven leadership in managing software engineering teams, fostering a dynamic and agile development environment.
  • Proficient in cloud technologies, with a strong focus on hyperscale platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS, enhancing scalability and performance.
  • Skilled in integrating purpose-built PaaS solutions like Datastax Astra, Confluent Kafka, and Elastic Cloud, optimizing data management and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles and open-source technologies, with a track record of developing and maintaining large-scale, critical applications and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise platform strategies, oversee complex engineering projects, and efficiently allocate resources, coupled with a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to agile practices
