What role will you play?

You will lead a team of high‑performing engineers across initiatives that span our public and private markets businesses. The focus is people leadership, delivery excellence, and clear technical direction. You will contribute to solution design decisions, provide technical guidance, partner with engineering leads on technology strategy, and take ownership of outcomes, ways of working, reliability, and continuous improvement to support the strategic objectives of the organisation.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of technology experience in any programming language, with Python and React.js highly regarded.
  • 3+ years’ experience in formal or informal engineering leadership, such as engineering lead or mentoring junior engineers, with a proven track record of managing an engineering team.
  • Ability to align priorities and deliver outcomes with product owners, business analysts, business stakeholders, and central/platform teams.
  • Proven delivery of complex initiatives in an agile environment with strong problem‑solving and balanced trade‑offs across scope, risk, quality, and timelines.
  • Current knowledge of cloud platforms and CI/CD, with AWS, Azure, or GCP highly regarded, and experience operating at enterprise scale. 
  • Solid grasp of Secure‑by‑Design and solution design patterns, with experience in incident, problem, and change management and in remediating technical debt; knowledge of asset management is highly regarded.
