Join the Macquarie Systematic Investments team who are a part of the Macquarie Asset Management Group, as an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) analyst.

What role will you play?

You will support the integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations into our Systematic equities’ portfolios, with a focus on corporate engagement, ESG research, proxy voting, and broader stakeholder collaboration, with the aim of enhancing long-term value for our clients.

As part of a collaborative investment team, you will engage directly with company management, contribute ESG insights via research to investment decisions, and articulate our stewardship approach to both internal and external stakeholders. Our systematic approach is data-driven, ensuring an efficient workflow process for analysing a large portfolio universe.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in ESG analysis, stewardship, investment research, or a related role within asset management or financial services
  • Strong understanding of material ESG issues across sectors and experience evaluating company ESG practices
  • Familiarity with listed equity investing, understanding Systematic and fundamental
  • Knowledge of proxy voting practices, stewardship codes (e.g., UK Stewardship Code), and relevant ESG frameworks (e.g., SASB, TCFD, UN PRI)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing ESG research and reports for internal and external audiences.
