Join our Settlements, Data and Transaction Support team, which is part of the wider Equities and Derivatives Trading Operations team. The team's primary function is to ensure timely settlement of trades, accurate static data set up for entity, instruments and standard settlement instructions. 

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

You will process the settlement of FX transactions and funding of custody accounts related to trade settlements as well as perform stock verification processes, run various reports related to cash projections and other risk related reports. In collaboration with traders, middle office, other internal teams and counterparties/brokers, you will be required to resolve any trade issues.

  • Strong organisational, communication and prioritisation skills with a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the aptitude to learn system flows 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills with a good understanding of Word and Excel 
  • Flexibility to work outside of office hours as required 
  • Good customer service skills with experience liaising with internal and external clients 
  • Experience in handling payment and FX settlements is an advantage 
  • Ability to investigate issues and escalate effectively.
