We have an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to become a part of our Equities division supporting a mix of inhouse and vendor systems for our trading desks.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be part of a global team responsible for our trading platforms supporting the Equities business. This role involves a mix of support and project-oriented work.
On the support side you will be responsible for monitoring the health of the trading applications and work with the trading desks and technology teams for any issues that arise during the trading day.
Other than support, you will also work with the technology team to improve and automate the trading infrastructure in a devops role using various technologies such as C# .NET, Python, Powershell etc. This will involve integration of various applications in trading system and working on release workflow and CI/CD pipelines to cloud and on-premise server clusters

What you offer

. Experience in trading or financial background
. Experience working in RDBMS, preferably SQL Server
. Scripting knowledge in any language, preferably Powershell/Batch and Bash/Perl/Python.
. Understanding of Linux and Windows operating system and troubleshooting
. Understanding of AWS, Docker and CI/CD tools is preferable
. Highly organised, capable of prioritising your own workload, and able to meet tight deadlines.
. Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to analyse requirements and effectively communicate solutions to complex problems to both business and technical stakeholders.
