Joining our Group Financial Reporting team in Sydney as an Executive, supporting the Head of Group Financial Reporting. Your voice, passion, and vision will empower, and guidance will support the team meet their objectives.
What role will you play?

You will partner with multiple groups across Macquarie in relation to the groups’ external financial reporting deliverables that include group, bank, non-bank interim, annual financial statements and related regulatory reports. You will be responsible for month-end reporting, consolidation controls and participation in reporting and data transformation related projects that contribute to the continued success of this function.
What you offer

- Tertiary degree in accounting or similar and CA/CPA part qualified or qualified (3 years post qualification)
- Strong understanding and ability to interpret financial statements and accounting requirements and standards (Australian Accounting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Excellent knowledge of consolidation accounting concepts
- Project management skills will be beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional and cross-border teams
- Knowledge and passion for data and regulatory reporting in a controlled environment
- Experience in financial services or investment banking industry is advantageous.
