Macquarie Asset Management Real Assets division has an opportunity for an experienced candidate to join the team in our Luxembourg office. Work within the Fund Management team as a Finance Manager, where you will have a high level of responsibility and be involved in all facets of the finance and operational functions of the Luxembourg companies within the Real assets group. Primary responsibility for Luxembourg holding and financing companies, you may also be involved on the administration and support of Luxembourg fund structures. The role will provide you with an opportunity to work on end-to-end processes in supporting large infrastructure and renewables funds right across their life cycle from establishment to liquidation.

What role will you play?

You will be involved in sizable business transactions, including distributions to investors, asset realisations and asset acquisitions as well as being a point of contact for relationships internally and with external fund administrators and advisors. In addition to this, the role will see you responsible for identifying and driving process improvement and efficiencies. Also, you will participate in the settlement of complex transactions and collaborate with various stakeholders to manage fund operations and compliance. Lead cash distribution processes, support ongoing daily activities, and contribute to the development of finance functions while staying updated on new accounting requirements and regulations.

What you offer

  • 6-10 years post qualification experience in accounting. Finance or audit experience will be beneficial in this role
  • Experience with commercial companies is a requisite, fund administration an added value
  • You will have sound technical competencies, possess excellent attention to detail and be confident in dealing with complex group structures and their associated accounting and tax issues
  • You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a highly motivated, proactive and resilient individual
  • You will demonstrate sound business judgement and possess strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to deal and negotiate with contacts both internal and external
