What role will you play?

As Senior HR Business Partner based in Sydney, you will leverage your expertise across a range of HR disciplines including people, culture, engagement, diversity and inclusion, as well as reward, and employee relations to support and coach business leaders on people matters across the full employee life cycle. This role will take accountability for the delivery of HR advice and services for the Macquarie Asset Management team across Australia and Asia.

In collaboration with the global MAM HR team, as well as Centres of Excellence, you’ll advise on, and provide tactical support in, developing people activities, collaboration on business initiatives and input into Group-wide programs.

You will be part of a team that is highly valued by our business and uses data-driven insights to deliver exceptional employee experiences and have a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.
You will support aspects of the year-end remuneration and promotion processes whilst driving the execution of talent and diversity strategies within the business group

What you offer

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, combined with demonstrable HR business partner experience within the global banking/financial services, or private equity sectors
  • A strong understanding of business issues and a commercial mindset, with a proven record of delivery within a fast-paced, high-performing, global matrixed organisation
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to engage, collaborate, influence and provide coaching at all levels across a diverse stakeholder group
  • Data led approach with ability to relate commercial and people insights to inform decision making, through well-developed analytical capability
  • Demonstrated resilience and expertise in managing change and building organisational capability
