What role will you play?

As a Data Analytics Manager, you will be the EMEA lead for the use of analytics across audits and manage the delivery of analytics on a wide range of concurrent and diverse audit activities. You will mentor the development of data champions within portfolio audit teams, establish effective and professional relationships with senior stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics solutions. Additionally, you may lead innovation projects that transform processes and identify and communicate data-led insights to drive positive change across Macquarie.

What you offer

• A background in analytics and/or data science, with experience using data analysis tools such as SQL and Alteryx; scripting languages such as R, VBA, and Python; and data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• You will need to be risk focused and enjoy building rapport with a wide range of stakeholders from across the organisation. As such, you will need to be able to communicate to the business in both a technical and non-technical way.
• A passion for learning and trying new things, with the ability to coach and develop team members
• Experience working both as part of a wider team and individually, with qualifications or experience in internal audit or risk management being an advantage.
• A prior education in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Maths, Audit, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or another relevant quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across different time zones, ensuring seamless collaboration with team members globally. Must be highly autonomous and capable of independently managing and delivering activities and projects without constant supervision.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
