Join our Digital team within our Corporate Operations Group in a new role to develop and deliver communications that boost the adoption of AI tools throughout Macquarie and foster a culture of digital innovation. 

This role is a 6-month contract

What role will you play?

Reporting to the Digital Head of Change and Communications, you will shape and deliver communications activities for a portfolio of internally facing Generative AI products and play a role in communicating digital strategy and new ways of working across Macquarie Group.

This role will see you partner with Leadership and business stakeholders to develop and execute internal communications strategies and enable the Macquarie Change and Communication network. You will organise and host AI and Digital events, lining up and preparing speakers and developing event content in collaboration with SMEs.

You will proactively explore communication channels, communities and programs available across Macquarie that can be leveraged to promote AI opportunities and create high-quality, engaging content, including case studies, internal social content, SharePoint pages, presentations and videos – ensuring there are strong feedback mechanisms in place so communications can be measured to demonstrate impact.
This position offers the chance to experiment with creative methods of engagement and to be at the forefront of driving transformative change across the organisation.

What you offer

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Project/Change Management, or business-related discipline
  • 3-5+ years’ experience developing and delivering communication plans in fast moving agile environments with a proven track record of delivery
  • Strong customer focus and ability to proactively understand the needs of diverse stakeholder groups to inform measurable communication approaches.
  • Adept at creating engaging communications materials and resources at pace across multiple formats and channels.
