The Records and Collaboration team within the Macquarie Asset Management business is responsible for developing and maintaining digital tools and platforms that facilitate communication and collaboration among team members across the business’s global operating locations. We ensure that these tools are secure, user-friendly, and integrated with other business systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.

What role will you play?

As the Technical Lead for the Records and Collaboration team, you will lead a small team of engineers and serve as the subject matter expert for all things related to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Working closely with the Group Data Officer, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end solution design and delivery, ensuring governance, scalability, and performance across enterprise platforms.

In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of SharePoint and Power Platform technologies, driving digital transformation and enhancing collaboration across our organisation.

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using SharePoint Online
• Experience building business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Apps
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services and Azure DevOps
• Practical experience integrating Microsoft 365 using Microsoft Graph APIs
• Proven background building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Strong experience applying core software engineering principles to Microsoft and SharePoint‑based solutions, including code quality, testing and version control
• Experience designing and maintaining database‑backed services using Python or SQL
• Understanding of modern authentication and identity standards, such as Entra ID and OAuth
