The SRE, Data, AI team, part of Developer Productivity under Application Security Engineering, is responsible for the reliability of platforms that engineering teams rely on to build and deliver software. We ensure platforms like MAX and AI SDLC are stable, observable, and well-understood, operating with an AI-native approach that prioritizes using the right tools, especially AI, to accelerate every investigation, change, and runbook

What role will you play?

In this role, you will own reliability for developer Productivity platforms—ensuring they are observable, performing, and supported to defined standards, rather than acting as the primary bug fixer. You will lead incident response, drive automation to reduce toil, advise on features pre-release, and enforce strict supportability so no platform enters operations without proper instrumentation, alerting, and runbooks. As a senior engineer, you will set technical direction, mentor others, and collaborate across Developer ProductivityApplication Security Engineering, and Group Technology & Security to proactively identify and address operability gaps before they become incidents

What you offer

• 9+ years of foundational experience of Linux, with strong interest in distributed systems and Kubernetes at scale 
• Basic knowledge of observability (metrics, logs, alerts) and how they reflect system health
• Proficiency in Python or shell scripting, with a focus on building automation to reduce manual work
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and GitOps, or strong motivation to quickly develop these skills
• Experience or strong interest in agentic engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), applied with disciplined validation and ownership
