Our Group Reporting team in Sydney collaborates across a dynamic, high‑performing function responsible for financial, regulatory, and management reporting. You will join a team where your perspective, ideas, and passion contribute to shaping and supporting Macquarie’s central finance capabilities.

What role will you play?

You will partner with teams across Macquarie to manage financial, regulatory, and management reporting deliverables and support a range of business‑as‑usual compliance processes and projects. You will drive the preparation of key reporting outputs for internal board and governance committees, while leading or contributing to financial reporting initiatives. Your role will also involve engaging with external auditors and legal advisers, and identifying opportunities to improve and automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and control.

What you offer

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce, with 5+ years’ post‑qualification experience, ideally within financial services or investment banking
  • Experience and knowledge of financial statements and accounting standards, including Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards
  • An interest in data and regulatory reporting, with experience operating within a strong control environment
  • Strong relationship‑building abilities and confidence working with a range of stakeholders across the organisation
  • A proactive approach to identifying process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
