What role will you play?

You will be responsible for Leading and overseeing the end-to-end hedge accounting process for interest rate risk management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and collaborating with Treasury, Risk, and Finance teams to design and monitor effective hedging strategies. You will also review and approve hedge documentation, effectiveness testing, and accounting entries, while providing expert guidance on complex issues, supporting audits, driving process improvements, and assisting with financial and regulatory reporting submissions. Additionally, prepare and present P&L forecasts and actuals to stakeholders, and advise on key drivers impacting Balance Sheet and P&L reporting.

What you offer

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA), ideally with experience in financial control or reporting
  • Background with a Big 4 Chartered Accountancy firm and/or a large, complex organisation
  • Prior experience in the application of IFRS or accounting standards to complex situations and structures in an advisory, commercial or financial reporting capacity would be beneficial
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Skilled in driving process improvements and supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
