The Transformation Office sits within the Financial Management, People and Engagement Group and plays a pivotal role in driving successful project delivery by offering comprehensive advisory services, including change management, benefits realisation, and resource and financial management. We ensure independent assurance through stage gate reviews and in-depth assessments of key initiatives to manage delivery risks effectively.

What role will you play?

As a Manager, you will be responsible for project assurance activities, including stage gate reviews and deep-dive health checks, to ensure adherence to the Delivery Framework within Financial Management, People, and Engagement Transformation. By evaluating risks, issues, and dependencies in project delivery processes, you will identify potential risks and recommend mitigations while preparing and facilitating stage gate approval documentation to ensure initiatives are managed consistently and with a focus on risk awareness. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with delivery portfolios, offering pragmatic solutions to project teams to ensure proportional risk management and compliance with internal delivery and risk standards.

Your role will involve creating and executing Project Assurance reports, documenting findings, and ensuring alignment with risk management protocols. You will foster teamwork and effective communication across project teams, driving shared goals in risk management and assurance. Moreover, you will contribute to best practice guidance for managing delivery risks and monitor project documentation, including non-compliance reporting, ensuring timely updates and escalation of major issues. By building strong relationships with Portfolio stakeholders, you will provide timely project assurance to support the smooth progress of initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Level​ and demonstrated experience in project delivery, either as part of a project team or in a supporting assurance role, with a strong understanding of project delivery risks and their identification
  • Knowledge with various project delivery and change frameworks and methodologies
  • Ability to participate in analytical reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality reports
  • Skilled in collaborating and engaging with stakeholders to achieve shared goals, while effectively prioritizing work to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
