Our Internal Audit Division’s Risk Culture and Behaviour team provides independent insights to strengthen risk management across Macquarie. Working across global hubs, the team uses evidence-based behavioural approaches to assess and enhance risk culture across a diverse range of businesses.

What role will you play?

As a Manager in the Risk Culture and Behaviour team, you will support and lead reviews of risk culture, contributing to senior executive and board reporting. You will collaborate with global colleagues and business partners to translate behavioural observations into practical actions and drive meaningful change across the organisation.

What you offer

  • Relevant education and at least three years of experience in human behaviour, such as psychology or behavioural science, ideally within a business, consulting, human resources, audit, or risk environment
  • Strong attention to detail, data literacy, and the ability to communicate insights clearly
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate within teams while engaging confidently with senior stakeholders
  • Experience designing and conducting structured behavioural interviews and developing reliable assessments using evidence-based approaches
  • A proactive mindset with strong critical thinking skills, able to analyse behavioural drivers of risk and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The Internal Audit Division provides independent and objective risk-based assurance on the effectiveness of Macquarie’s risk management framework. Our global team conducts risk-based reviews focused on the effective operation of controls and governance processes, identifying insights through innovation and critical thinking. Our collaboration across all Groups is crucial to highlight potential risks and ensures compliance with regulatory standards in maintaining Macquarie’s integrity and success.
