Join a market operations team responsible for managing client margining, collateral movements, risk mitigation activities, and critical exchange margin settlements across global Commodities and Global Markets businesses.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in managing daily client margin requirements, collateral settlements, and credit/risk reporting across global markets. You will monitor and process transactions, perform reconciliations, and investigate and resolve margin call disputes and other risk-related issues.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will support both business-as-usual activities and strategic projects, contribute to operational excellence and transformation initiatives, and help maintain a strong risk and control environment while delivering high standards of service.

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in financial markets, risk management and trading operations
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • A proactive, adaptable and team-oriented mindset
  • The ability to perform well under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
