Join our Macquarie Asset Management Legal team as a Paralegal, supporting the Public Markets business. Based in Sydney, you will support businesses in the Asia Pacific, Americas and Europe across a number of asset classes offered in both Australia and international markets.

What role will you play?

You will facilitate comprehensive document management including arranging execution of agreements, maintaining execution registers, filing and archiving, in addition to maintaining agreement databases including assisting with the integration of AI tools.

This role will see you prepare filings and registrations with regulators including with ASIC, while drafting and preparing documents and correspondence. Your work will support key governance activities by compiling information for legal reporting to Boards, Committees, and Management. You will assist lawyers with research, drafting, and matter management, and provide general paralegal and administrative support as needed.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a paralegal in private practice or in-house
• Experience working in the financial services/asset management industry is preferred but not essential
• High level attention to detail and strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
