We have an exciting opportunity for a performance analytics professional with a funds management background to join our team at Macquarie Asset Management.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for verifying daily performance return calculations for institutional investment advisors. You will also review portfolio, sector, and security-level returns to gather and maintain benchmark data, as well as analyse portfolio results in relation to relevant benchmarks. Additionally, you will identify performance discrepancies and investigate to ensure accuracy across all accounts, composites, and indices, including the confirmation of daily international currency exchange rate movements.

What you offer

  • Graduate degree with knowledge of a broad range of financial instruments, investment securities, and domestic and international capital markets.
  • CIPM or CFA designations and proficiency with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of performance attribution analysis, calculation methods, and risk measures.
  • An aptitude for learning about systems and applications relevant to delivering performance measurement and client reporting services.
  • Excellent quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and is detail-oriented; excellent communication, interpersonal, time, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Aladdin, SQL queries, Bloomberg, EAGLE PACE, and/or other accounting and performance systems.
