Our in-house Performance and Media team plays a crucial role in Macquarie’s retail banking business, helping reach, engage and convert customers at scale. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic and tactical go to market initiatives across performance marketing channels.

What role will you play?

Your role will involve developing and optimising campaigns across paid social, paid search, and programmatic supporting colleagues across the Marketing ecosystem to drive product consideration and customer acquisition. You will measure campaign performance rigorously, identifying trends and insights that inform optimisation recommendations and strategic decisions across multiple channels and touchpoints. This will help to identify initiatives that will improve the experience and conversion through the acquisition funnel. You will work closely with digital advertising platforms and with internal Data and AI, Digital and Technology teams. You will play a key role in identifying, prioritising and delivering innovations to our digital advertising program.

What you offer

  • 2+ years of experience with a proven expertise in at least two of the following; Paid Social (Meta, TikTok), Paid Search (Google Ads), Programmatic (DV360), or Affiliates
  • A proven ability to execute campaigns to a high standard, using features like smart bidding and first-party data for sophisticated audience targeting
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and a passion for creative problem-solving. You are proficient with analytics platforms like Google Analytics
  • Experience contributing to or conducting A/B tests, with a genuine eagerness to help foster a culture of experimentation and learning
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable reporting on campaign performance and delivering insights to stakeholders
  • High degree of accountability for commercial, brand, and risk outcomes with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong growth mindset and a natural collaborator who thrives as part of a high-performing team
  • Agency experience valuable.
