We're looking for an experienced Process Architect to provide business and process architecture support on transformation projects and our architecture practice development. This role sits in the Business and Process Architecture Practice in the Digital division in Macquarie’s Centre of Excellence.

What role will you play?

As the Process Architect, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing business processes management capabilities, and systems that align with the organisation’s strategic goals and customer needs. You will analyse and model the organisation’s business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement in the way it delivers value to customers. You will develop and maintain business process models with alignment of value chains/streams, products and services based on the organisation’s strategic goals and customer needs.

You will collaborate with Architects and Platform Owners to understand business capabilities with other domains such as systems, data, risks, controls, customer journeys, initiatives etc. In addition, you will be working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into process architecture that align with the organisation’s strategic goals and the service offerings of the Process Architecture practice. You will develop Process Architecture artifacts using tools such as Signavio through engagements and communicate Process Architecture concepts and solutions to stakeholders.

What you offer

  • 5+ years experience in Process Architecture or Business Architecture, with a focus on large-scale, complex organisations.
  • Possess a consultative and a problem-solving mindset, that involves eliciting business challenges and navigating them towards a most optimal solution in a simple and concise manner
  • Good understanding of Business Process Management and modelling (using BPMN2.0)
  • Strong understanding of Process Architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining business capability models, process models, information models and linkages to other domains.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with business/enterprise architecture tools and technologies.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ideally have delivered within a Process Architecture practice.
