Our Transformation Office sits within the Non-Financial Risk team, part of the Finance, People and Engagement (FPE) function. We provide advisory services across all aspects of project delivery, including change management, benefits, resource, and financial management. Our team ensures governance and oversight across the FPE Transformation book of work, supporting FPE’s and Macquarie's strategic initiatives globally. We also provide independent assurance across all aspects of both delivery risk and benefits realisation – from risk reduction to strategic enablement, operational efficiency, cost reduction, and regulatory compliance. We do this through stage gate reviews, post implementation reviews, and deep-dive assessments on material inflight initiatives, including those with regulatory oversight.

What role will you play?

As the Global Project Assurance Lead, you will guide the project assurance team within FPE Transformation, ensuring all material change work undertaken globally adheres to delivery risk management standards, and that, as a team, we’re able to assess the proposed and agreed benefits (benefits realisation) are being delivered to standard throughout the transformation portfolios’ lifecycle including project closure. You will also support the delivery portfolios, offering pragmatic solutions and ensuring compliance with enterprise change standards. Additionally, you will undertake project assurance engagements as part of regulatory responses. The forums and stakeholders include Divisional and Regional Risk Forums, Steering Committees, Project team meetings, and Cross Group delivery and assurance forums.

  • Strong leadership experience for assurance and project practitioners
  • Expertise in various project and change frameworks and methodologies
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across groups, with a strategic approach to stakeholder management
  • Strong skills in risk management and compliance, including critical evaluation of risk management frameworks and coordinating control assurance testing
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, skilled in communicating issues and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong and empathetic Leadership skills with the ability to lead a global team across a variety of different cultures and ways of working
