Join our Cyber Security Technology team where you will be working with teams who provide a safe and responsive environment within Macquarie, as well as prepare for, protect against and respond to cyber threats. You will join our Network Services Delivery Squad who are focused on network security, performance and availability projects.

What role will you play?

You will play a critical role in overseeing Networking and Unified Communications projects and initiatives while working closely with the Program Manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects that are key to our Cybersecurity strategy. You will leverage your extensive project management experience to be accountable for multiple initiatives, ensuring they are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities include planning, organising, leading, and evaluating the activities of your project team, driving the accomplishment of all objectives and goals while maintaining the quality of project deliverables within scheduled time frames. You’ll prepare and present stakeholder packs and project reporting, maintain an open dialogue with stakeholders, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Additionally, you will identify, communicate, and manage dependencies and risks to delivery, facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution, and effectively manage and prioritise competing activities.

What you offer

  • 3-5 years' of experience in Project Management with recent exposure to institutional banking or financial services industry
  • Recognised industry certification such as PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or similar
  • Complex problem-solving skills and a broad understanding of Network infrastructure technology and concepts
  • Experience working with and onboarding new and existing Vendors in a complex regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills within a challenging business environment
  • Experience managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies also experience managing BAU delivery will be an advantage.
