Join our Risk Governance team and play a key role in producing insightful and decision-based risk reporting to a senior stakeholder group including Macquarie’s Senior Management, Board and its committees

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst in the team, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing internal risk reports and external risk disclosures to ensure their effectiveness and accuracy where appropriate.

The role plays an integral part in contributing to a range of governance activities and change initiatives to support key elements of Macquarie’s Risk Management Framework across all financial and non-financial risk types, including in relation to our Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Management Strategy.

Your work will also involve working alongside stakeholders across various functions, which will provide an opportunity to build networks across Macquarie’s Risk Management Group.

What you offer

  • Experience in risk management, legal, banking or financial services, with an understanding of the banking and financial services regulatory environment.
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate information and draw key insights.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Agile, proactive and organised to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, previous experience in risk reporting is advantageous.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
