Aligned to the Operational Risk team, you will join during an exciting time of transformation and will partner with our team of risk specialists to support the successful delivery of group-wide strategic initiatives.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Change Manager, you will own the delivery and success of operational risk change by designing and leading execution of the change management strategy and development of tailored change plans. You will partner with the Operational Risk division to drive effective management and embedment of all material changes which may arise from major projects, continuous improvement initiatives, or BAU type activities. Additionally, you will design and implement measurement strategies to establish change readiness and execute appropriate adoption activities to maximise adoption post go-live. 


What you offer

  • 8+ years’ experience as a Change practitioner with recent experience leading and implementing a change strategy within the Financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner.
  • Prior experience in the Operational Risk domain is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Change or an aligned field.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
