Join our Global Business Aligned Compliance Team based in Sydney, responsible for ensuring that all activities within the Macquarie Capital Equities business comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst, you will act as a point of contact for compliance related queries, providing guidance to the Equities business, ensuring they adhere to all applicable regulations and industry standards.

You will conduct regular monitoring of trading and reviews of business activities to detect and address any compliance issues and develop and provide training to staff of compliance requirements and best practices.

In addition, you will identify and assess existing and emerging compliance risks and regulatory change impacting the Equities business and implement appropriate actions to mitigate these risks.

What you offer

  • Prior experience in a Compliance/Risk Management role within the Financial Services Industry, with Equities experience being advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree is Finance, Law, Commerce or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with good stakeholder management
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for equities trading will be highly regarded.
