What role will you play?

As a Senior Leader in Operational Risk, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive frameworks for technology risk, providing guidance, oversight, assurance, and insights. Partnering with first-line teams, you will embed robust risk management practices, promote high control standards, and challenge exposures related to technology risk.

Your role will involve delivering actionable insights, supporting the business in managing emerging risks, and enhancing reporting mechanisms to identify vulnerabilities and drive risk reduction. Your strategic vision and expertise will be essential in proactively identifying and managing emerging threats, ensuring our risk management practices are effective and forward-thinking.

  • Proven leadership experience in Technology risk management.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing Technology risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to partner with business leaders and provide advisory and challenge capacities.
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating Technology risks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex risk insights effectively.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
