Join our Client Solutions Group, within Macquarie’s Asset Management division. Our team is led by the primary objective of expanding and growing our brand across Asia by marketing, capital raising, and providing first-class after-sales service across our flagship investment product capabilities.

It is proposed that Macquarie Asset Management will sell its North American and European public investments business, comprising of equities, fixed income and multi-asset to Nomura, by the end of the calendar year 2025. This role is in scope to transfer to Nomura as part of the sale. Therefore, this role will commence with Macquarie Asset Management in Hong Kong, but will transfer to Nomura in Hong Kong on completion of the sale.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for supporting the core institutional business across public investment strategies, supporting all aspects of fundraising and client servicing related to Korean institutional investors, including supporting sales efforts for Korean investors comprising of pension funds, mutual aids, public funds, insurers, and distributors.

Your role will require you to communicate with clients daily to receive and respond to various incoming queries on both existing and prospective accounts, coordinate execution processes in fund raiding and contribute to the execution of proactive investor relationship management to ensure clients receive high quality service through ad-hoc reporting and regular fund performance updates, and oversee management and tracking of communications with investors via our CRM system.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management or institutional sales support, inclusive of 3+ years of experience in direct client relationship
  • Fluency in English and Korean, including translating capabilities
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task, within a diverse and fast-paced role, whilst striving for continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and team coordination
  • High proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and RFP tools is valuable.
